Beginning June 22nd, pick up a Reading Record at the library or print one here. Every day this summer that you read for at least 30 minutes, mark a circle. You can read the book yourself or have the book read aloud to you … or a combination of both. Bring this Reading Record to the library between August 24 – September 4th and a donation will be made for “seed money” to start a Community Garden behind the Walker School building. You don’t have to fill the entire record to earn a donation, but if you do, you will receive a gift certificate for an ice cream sandwich at John’s Ice Cream. All ages can participate.
.
For the first 30 people who get a Reading Record at the library, you can also get a sunflower plant! The plants are donated by Rooted Elements.

This year’s Summer Reading program is sponsored by Liberty Graphics; Pieceworks, Inc.; Dewey’s Lumber; Joanne Pease, CPA; Qwerty Shoals LLC; individuals; and Liberty Library.
