Due to little interest in 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, we have discontinued this program. Instead we are encouraging participation in the Imagination Library.
Beginning in 2024, the State of Maine and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, a program that puts books into the hands, will be administered by the Maine State Library. The Imagination Library mails free books directly to the homes of children age birth to five every month. Each book includes reading tips for that specific title. More information about how to register will be forthcoming.
