Sunday, March 22·4:00 – 5:00pm at Lake St.George Brewing Company
In a special event to benefit Waldo County Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Steven Brown will be playing a special concert. Steven’s music touches on the blues, folk, country and progressive rock. “You can even expect an occasional bout of opera,” he said.
.
Accompanying himself on guitar and singing with a deep and lyrical voice, Steven will play original material and songs by favorite songwriters in a wide variety of styles. As a singer-songwriter, he has recorded and performed a wide array of original songs and imaginative cover arrangements. He has collaborated with other artists as poet/lyricist, guitarist, and vocalist. Steven’s solo concerts have been billed as “The most eclectic show you will ever know!” A new album of original material is in the works. CDs will be for sale after the concert.
.
The Ottawa-born Brown moved to the Midcoast in 2018. He serves as Searsmont’s Library Director where in 2019 he helped establish the Live Outside the Library concert series. He homesteads in Liberty with actress Giz Coughlin, his “significantly better half.”
.
This concert is free but will accept free-will donations to benefit Waldo County Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
