People have been asking about donations for the Pick-a-Prize Raffle so here are the details.
Donations of new or handmade items are requested. Services, food items, baskets, or certificates are popular. It is preferred that you bring the items in the week of August 17, but please have all items at the library by August 21st.
If you need to bring items in beforehand, you can. (Make sure your name is attached.) However, bringing them in the week before saves me from schlepping them home and back. (We have no storage.) If you need me to make a certificate for you for a service, such as a baked good or yard clean up, please let me know the details. If you need an idea to put together a themed basket/box, please ask for suggestions. Prizes for children and teens are always welcome. Board members will be asking businesses for a donation, but if you are not contacted, please contact us. This is great advertisement for local businesses! We had well-over 300 people attend the Raffle and Ice Cream Sandwich Social in 2025.
