In-Person Digital Literacy Classes

Liberty Library is working with the Waldo Broadband Corporation and the National Digital Equity Center (NDEC) to offer free digital literacy classes for our community. NDEC strives to provide valuable hands-on experience to empower you with the digital tools, such as desktop computers, laptop computers, tablets, and smart phones, that you need to navigate today’s world. See topics for Onsite classes and let me know if there is something you want offered.

Registration is required for each class. To register, contact the facilitator by email brehmeyer@liberty.lib.me.us, call 207-589-3161 (Thursday or Friday afternoons are best or leave a message to be called back.), or click on the “RESERVE YOUR SPOT” button. Please register as early as possible as classes are limited. If you do not receive a registration confirmation email, please contact the library at the above email or phone number.

Some classes require you have a laptop computer. You can bring your own or there are a limited supply of laptops that you can use at the library. Please let the library know if you need to use one.

The Using Facebook Securely class held on August 14 will take place at Searsmont Town Library despite the location listed as Liberty.
