Sheep Photobomb Needle Felted Landscape with Kristen Walsh In this workshop students will begin by learning basic needle felting techniques to create a simple and quick meadow “wool painting.” Color choice, blending colors, and perspective will be covered to help students create a believable landscape. Then the fun begins! Students will add a photobombing sheep to the foreground of their painting and then add small sheep to the background to create depth and distance. Skill Level: Beginner

Kristen Walsh has been involved in creative things her whole life. She has been exploring fiber for many years – first knitting, then spinning and finally felting. Kristen has been earning attention for her felting, winning prizes at the many shows and has had work selected for several publications as well as exhibits across the country. Kristen sees no end to the possibilities with felting and in recent years have published a felting book. She wants to continue exploring felting through continued teaching as well as creating her own felted art.
