As the long, cold winter draws to an end, we thank all of you who knit and crocheted the warm hats, mittens, scarves, nap blankets and lap quilts to fill our basket to overflowing so many times! We will begin collecting again in the fall.

We delivered to WaldoCAP Early Childhood and Family Service, to Triad in Belfast, and provided hats and mittens at Christmas to a Waldo County family with five children. Both WaldoCAP and Triad distribute throughout Waldo County. A new addition this year has been a box in the library for local children, as well as adults, to pick mittens and hats from. We are skeptical that winter weather is over so these will be available for a few more weeks. Come take what you need!
