Liberty Sheepscot Valley Quilters Exhibit

The quilted items in this month’s exhibit are from the Liberty Sheepscot Valley Quilters, which meets some months at the home of Jane Bourassa in Liberty. Group members are from a wide range of neighboring towns. Their main focus is the fellowship and sharing of their own quilting projects and learning about new ideas, techniques, and tools. Another focus is to work together at many of their meetings to make quilts to give away to members of our communities who are experiencing hardship, ill health, or bereavement. They mostly use donated fabrics for their charity quilts. They do not belong to the Maine state quilt guild and charge no dues.

.

Many of the quilts in the exhibit have a fall theme. This exhibit will be on display until the end of October.

Liberty Sheepscot Valley Quilters welcomes new members, whether you are a beginner or an experienced quilter. If interested in joining, call Jane Bourassa. Her contact information can be found at the library.
