StoryWalk®*

We are sorry but the weather just has not been very cooperative this winter to set up a new StoryWalk®. So we have decided to save Thanks to the Animals for next winter. We plan to have a new StoryWalk® set up after mud season. Perhaps it will be the 4th book in the Hector Fox series, Map of Mystery by Astrid Sheckels.

.

We are very disappointed about the 4 placards that went missing from the last fall’s StoryWalk®. Hopefully, that will not happen again. Several people work hard to bring these stories to you for the enjoyment of many. It is disheartening to have them destroyed.

.

Haystack Mountain Trail is behind Walker School. This 1.1-mile footpath loop winds through a mixed northern hardwoods forest with a short spur to the open summit. Take the road on the left of the Walker Health Center and park at the ball field behind it. Address: 43 West Main St. Liberty, ME.
