Meet the Artist Kits

The library had hoped to once again host the monthly Homeschool Group this fall. Alas, that is not the case. In an effort to provide some resources for children, the library will be offering monthly Meet the Artist Kits. The kits will include brief information about a famous artist and include some activities and resources in order to complete them. And since all kids are “homeschooled”, anyone who asks for a kit can have one until gone. Probably best for children ages 4-10.

2022 FAMILY DINNER BOOK CLUB

The 2022 Family Dinner Book Club’s theme for the year is books to help build social-emotional learning. Each month, they share a book list around a particular topic and highlight one of those books for you to read with your children. They also include conversation starters for you. Sarah from Chef Sarah Elizabeth shares an amazing themed menu around the featured book and Laura from Sunny Day Family shares an activity around the theme.

You read the book with your family and then pick a day to share a meal and discuss the book.
