Transparent Intentions

During August, the library will feature a series of collages and mixed media artworks by Hugh Mahon. His “Transparent Intentions” is a series of abstract and nonobjective images which encourage a closer examination, revealing an insight into both the presentation and some of the subjects of his work.

Mahon is well known in the Livingston, New Jersey area as an art educator and fine artist in diverse media, including painting, drawing, mixed media, and collages employing found and recycled materials. He is an award winning set painter and designer. Mahon is a long-time summer resident of Liberty.
