Remote Work Through Libraries

Thanks to state grant funding through Remote Work Through Libraries, a part of Governor Mill’s Maine Jobs & Recovery Plan, the library has added new resources to enhance the remote work experience. In addition to the Zenbooth, we added an outlet in the “Where the Sidewalk Ends” area so people can plug in while they work at the outdoor table. The grant also enabled the library to purchase a color printer and another laptop. All of these enhancements expand the library’s ability to increase public access to the free, high-speed internet.
