This summer, we are joining libraries around the state in Read ME, a statewide program presented in partnership with the Maine Humanities Council and the Maine State Library that gets Maine’s adults all reading the same books. This year Maine author Paul Doiron has selected two books by lesser-known Maine authors: River Talk, a fiction book by CB Anderson, and Settled in the Wild: Notes from the Edge of Town, a nonfiction book by Susan Hand Shetterly. We will keep you posted about author visits and facilitated book discussions around the state:
