An Indigenous Peoples’ History Study Group

Friends and neighbors are invited to an Indigenous Peoples’ History Study Group at the Liberty Library. This group’s vision is to gather once a month, for one year, to discuss and learn about local indigenous history, continental indigenous history, and current related issues.

At our first meeting, Tuesday, March 26, 6:30-8pm, we will view Sunlight Media Collective’s video: The Penobscot – Ancestral River, Contested Territory”.

At our second meeting, on April 23rd, we will discuss pages 1-44 of An Indigenous Peoples’ History of the United States by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz.

Remaining meeting dates of the series: May 28, June 25, September 24, October 22, November 26, December 17, January 28, 2020, and February 25, 2020.
