Flower Arranging Workshop

Sat, September 14, 1pm – 4pm
The first workshop in the series of Making art is good for the body, mind, and soul will be a Flower Arranging Workshop taught by Debbie Dinsmore, former owner of Branch Pond Flowers and Gifts. During the afternoon, you will be creating a round fall arrangement and learn to make an armature for a holiday decoration. Flowers and some materials will be provided (see below). The class is FREE because we received a Maine Public Library Fund Program Grant, but REGISTRATION is required. Limited to 15 people, age 12+. Refreshments will be available.

Things to bring: flared vase that has a 3-inch opening, pint mason jar,  hand towel, bucket or pitcher (something that holds water), knife, scissors, cedar or pine boughs (if you have them), and any flowers from your own garden that you would like to include in your arrangement.
