From Acadia National Park to the Scottish Borders, Maine author Diane Magras has always found her inspiration in natural and historical worlds. Both Maine and Scotland influenced her middle grade adventure The Mad Wolf’s Daughter (a “New York Times” Editors’ Choice) and its companion book The Hunt for the Mad Wolf’s Daughter. Join her to hear more about how these books came to be and the castles this author loves—and to create your own early medieval castle! A reading and book-signing will be included. Ages 7 and up.
