A Universe of Stories 2019

Read more and help pets! Every day this summer that you read for at least 30 minutes, put a sticker on the “A UNIVERSE OF STORIES” chart that you get at the library. You can read the book yourself or have the book read aloud to you … or a combination of both.

You can “spend” sticker points on buying supplies for the Waldo County Pet Food Pantry. On Saturday, September 7, 1:00, kids bring their Summer Reading Records and “spend” sticker points. Heidi Blood and her dog Cubby will be here to accept the donations. You don’t have to fill the whole record to earn points for pets, but if you do fill the entire chart, you will get a gift certificate for a mini ice cream cone at John’s Ice Cream and a surprise gift.

You can start as soon as you get your chart. If you complete one chart, get another chart at the library. The more you read, the more you will help feed pets!

The Summer Reading Program is made possible by Pieceworks, Inc., Back 40 Bakehouse, Liberty East, Lake St. George Brewing Company, and Richard & Mary Vann. We are still taking donations.
